VIHARA KWAN IM - LOJI, SUKABUMI

I want to tell you about  Kwan Im Temple in Loji, near to Pelabuhan Ratu, Sukabumi. It is approximately 25 km to Pelabuhan Ratu beach and 80 km from Sukabumi.
The temple has another name Vihara { temple } Loji. The owner of  sthe temple is an old woman from Thailand, Anotahi Kamonwathin or Mama{Ma'am}Airin. One day, she dreamed that she must build a vihara/ temple on the bank of Pelabuhan Ratu beach. The temple in her dream looks like a temple in Qing Dynasty. Finally, the temple was finished on August 8th, 2000.
When we entered the gate, we can see dragon with seven heads with its long tail along the stairs. The gate is carved in golden with Thai style. The stairs consist of 500 stairs, and we can see Earth God and Julai Buddha in every step. More higher and higher we stepped up....we can see so many kinds of Goddes and God. The main altar is Sun Go Khong and the Master. So beautiful view of blue ocean of PElabuhan Ratu beach can be seen from this altar. It's so thrilled....
I think there are some differences statues here, there are Nyi Roro Kidul { The Queen of South Beach}, Prabu Siliwangi and Thai Queen. The most special place is Nyi Roro Kidul altar. And it is so unique because inside it there is also a corner of Wali Songo's corner. This place is for people who want to pray and ask something in their lives { why don't they ask to God? }, furthermore, there is a picture of President Soekarno beside the green of Nyi Roro Kidul. The color of her, because she is connected with green. What is the connection between King and Queen of Thai with Nyi Roro Kidul?. Mama {Mother} Airin believes that Nyi Roro Kidul is the daughter of King and Queen of Thai.
This temple is also visited not only by people surrounding it but also from out of Sukabumi.Unfortunately, the way to reach the temple is not really good. I hope the government in charge can provide good accommodation and it is also can be major income for the tourism in Indonesia.
